Hey girls, and internet strangers!
This is the first of a weekly update series. Planning to drop these on Wednesdays as I'm now a week removed from my last infusion start, and the next update I'll type up from another infusion appointment.
Let's start with the chemo side effects: they've been lingering a bit longer this round for some reason. Normally I'm super fatigued and sleep super hard at night, but the past few days I find it really hard to sleep, and now I'm fatigued in another way. Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good!
Caroline is in musical theater camp this week at her dance school and I'm looking forward to her performance at the end of the week! (little tease for the YouTube channel)
Moira is in daycare today, which is always sorta tough because she struggles with that initial separation. I know she is entirely fine as soon as I'm out of sight, but drop off can be hard. She's currently obsessed with swimsuits and prefers them to actual clothes. Today she insisted on carrying her swimsuit into the daycare and I'm honestly surprised she didn't want to wear it into the building...
I know the first few posts have been sort of heavy, and I'm not done digging into all of what has happened over the last year, but it's not all doom and gloom! Life is fantastic, and I am super excited to be here and be able to enjoy all the little things with my amazing family!
I continue to be overwhelmed by all the outpouring of support following my initial posts. I can't thank you all enough. Please feel free to continue sharing my social media posts or the blog or the YouTube channel with anyone you know. I hope I can make a positive impact by sharing what we are going through and maybe this will reach someone who may be a donor match and really save my life.
Again thank you all! I look forward to continue sharing with you all. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have in the comments and I'll do my best to respond!
